Our
Story
Luis and Tyra are both Filipinos, born and raised in the Philippines, but little did they know their paths would cross in another country.
In February 2020, they both arrived in Sydney, Australia — Luis to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, and Tyra to accompany her grandmother. Although they arrived in Australia at the same time, they had not met yet and were living their own separate lives in the same place.
It wasn’t until November 2021 that they finally met through mutual Filipino friends in Australia and became friends. Shortly after, Tyra returned home to the Philippines for work.
Luis started courting Tyra in July 2022. In November 2022, they became a couple and began a long-distance relationship, with Tyra living in the Philippines and Luis in Australia. Despite the distance between them, they stayed close through constant communication and daily video calls, choosing each other every day no matter how many miles separated them. ❤️
Finally, in November 2025, Luis proposed to Tyra at Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan, and, of course, she said yes! 💍

Nico & Nicole grew up in the same neighborhood, same community. They even went to the same college in Xavier University, both from the College of Engineering.
For years, their paths never crossed, not realizing that one day, they would become each other’s home.
Then, at the right time, God found a way to bring them together. 🤍
It all started with one simple message.
A small favor led to conversations that never seemed to end, then casual conversations turned into shared dreams, goals, and a future they continue to build together.
And somehow, the person who was once just “the neighbor” became home. 🤍
