Luis and Tyra are both Filipinos, born and raised in the Philippines, but little did they know their paths would cross in another country.
In February 2020, they both arrived in Sydney, Australia — Luis to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, and Tyra to accompany her grandmother. Although they arrived in Australia at the same time, they had not met yet and were living their own separate lives in the same place.
It wasn’t until November 2021 that they finally met through mutual Filipino friends in Australia and became friends. Shortly after, Tyra returned home to the Philippines for work.
Luis started courting Tyra in July 2022. In November 2022, they became a couple and began a long-distance relationship, with Tyra living in the Philippines and Luis in Australia. Despite the distance between them, they stayed close through constant communication and daily video calls, choosing each other every day no matter how many miles separated them.
Finally, in November 2025, Luis proposed to Tyra at Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan, and, of course, she said yes! 💍

Yes, parking spaces are available in front of the church and at the reception venue.
Yes, RSVP is required so we can confirm seating and finalize all arrangements.
We wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to venue capacity and planning considerations, we're only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for helping us keep the day intimate and special.
The drive from the church to the reception venue is around 10 minutes.
Yes, you can take photos and videos. However, we kindly ask that you be mindful and avoid blocking our professional photographers and videographers.
